Sociedad Portuaria Río Córdoba is a developing multipurpose public service port located in Ciénaga, Magdalena.
In the maritime zone, we will use the existing public access channel with a depth of 21 meters. In the land zone, we are connected to the national railway linking Santa Marta with La Dorada and the Troncal Caribe, which connects with the Ruta del Sol.
Transforming this former coal port drives two major national objectives: rail reactivation and energy transition.
Multipurpose Port.
At Río Córdoba, we will handle the following types of cargo with rail and multimodal potential, including:
- Mineral Bulk
- Food Bulk (corn, wheat, soybeans, among others)
- Liquid Cargo (oil products, palm oil)
- Containers
- General Cargo
- Ro-Ro Cargo (roll-on/roll-off)
